Position Overview:

As the Head of Marketing at The Mortgage Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s marketing strategy and driving demand generation, content creation, and product marketing. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and success of our business. Startup experience would be ideal as we are PE-backed and in hyper-growth mode, looking for a smart and scrappy marketing leader to dive in and help take us to the next level! Initially, this role will oversee one internal direct report and two outside agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy, focusing on demand generation, content creation, and product marketing, with a strong emphasis on ROI and growth.

Demand Generation: Drive lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion efforts through a multi-channel marketing approach, including inbound and outbound tactics.

Upsell and Cross-Sell Strategy: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and develop targeted campaigns to promote additional products or features, maximizing revenue from the current customer base.

Content Creation: Spearhead the creation of compelling and informative content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and more, to establish The Mortgage Office as a thought leader in the industry.

Product Marketing: Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and features, working closely with the product team to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.

Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation.

Analytics and Performance Metrics: Implement robust analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results.

Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles at B2B SaaS startups.
  • Strong track record of driving demand generation, content creation, and product marketing initiatives that have resulted in revenue growth.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, with a strong preference for expertise in HubSpot, including experience in setting up and optimizing marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in upselling and cross-selling strategies, driving additional revenue from existing customer bases.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Understanding of the mortgage or real estate industry is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

Pay Range: $100-200K
