Position Summary:
Applied Business Software Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our organization. As an HR Generalist, you will be critical in developing and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various HR functions and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer the company’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with policies and competitive market practices.
• Analyze compensation data and work with business leaders to make recommendations for salary adjustments and benefits enhancements.

Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Accurately maintain employee files

Performance Management:
• Oversee implementation of performance management program, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and addressing performance-related issues.

HR Policies and Compliance:
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Communicate policies and ensure employees’ understanding and adherence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and exit interviews.

Requirements:
• Experience with Rippling is a major plus.
• B.A. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven work experience in HR.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and experience in full-cycle recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
• Experience with performance management and employee development programs.
• Familiarity with HRIS software and other HR-related tools.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.

Pay Range: $60-80k Salary
