Job Title: Manager/Sr. Manager Sales Operations
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join our rapidly growing SaaS company. The Senior Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for leading our sales operations function, driving sales productivity and efficiency by implementing and optimizing sales processes, systems, and tools. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the sales organization in achieving its revenue targets and improving customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales processes, methodologies, and tools to increase sales productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and other cross-functional teams to define sales objectives, develop sales strategies, and ensure the successful execution of plans.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
• Manage the sales forecasting process and provide accurate and timely revenue projections to senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all sales systems and tools, including CRM, marketing automation, and other sales and marketing applications. Experience with Hubspot is preferred.
• Work with sales leadership to develop and implement sales compensation plans, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
• Provide sales training and support on sales processes, systems, and tools to ensure sales team effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards, reports, and metrics to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage the sales operations budget and vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Develop and mentor the sales operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in sales operations or related fields, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems, preferably Hubspot.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales processes, methodologies, and tools that drive sales productivity and effectiveness.
• Knowledge of sales compensation plans, policies, and procedures.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
