About the Product Team: Our Product team is driven by curiosity and leverages user research and data to craft scalable, effective solutions for users with varying levels of digital proficiency.
Position Overview: As a Product UX Designer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our loan management software for Business-to-Business (B2B) clients. Leveraging your expertise in user-centered design principles, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and iterate on user interfaces that drive engagement, usability, and satisfaction.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Vision and Communication: Clearly articulate design trends and best practices to stakeholders, fostering a shared vision for product development.
User Research: Conduct in-depth user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our B2B clients. Utilize various methodologies such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather actionable insights. Use existing research and work with stakeholders to understand customers’ needs and pain points.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Translate user insights and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing to refine the user experience.
UI Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity and design standards. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into the final product.
Design System Utilization: Build and scale our design system to ensure a cohesive and consistent user experience across all platforms.
Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement. Analyze feedback and data to make informed design iterations that enhance the overall user experience.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize design initiatives and ensure alignment with product goals and timelines.
Accessibility and Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with accessibility standards and regulations, making our software inclusive and accessible to users of all abilities.
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and financial technology. Apply new knowledge and insights to enhance the effectiveness of our design processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in UX design for financial technology software or related domains, with a focus on B2B products.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Proven ability to build consensus, influence others, and work effectively within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers. Experience in establishing credibility and proactively communicating with team members and leaders.
