David Ng brings to The Mortgage Office a career built at the intersection of security, privacy, and product — forged across more than 15 years at some of the most security-conscious organizations in technology. As Head of Trust & Security, David is responsible for the practices, programs, and culture that ensure TMO remains a platform private lenders can stake their reputation on.
Before joining TMO, David held senior security and privacy roles at Salesforce and Meta. At Salesforce, he served as Director of Product Management, leading development of data-driven security products and bridging the worlds of engineering and enterprise customer trust in a platform relied on by hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide. At Meta, he served as Privacy Program Manager, helping to architect the systems and safeguards that protect data at global scale. Earlier in his career, David served as Senior Manager of Application Security at PwC, where he defined security strategy and delivered solutions across the firm’s member organizations, and built 3D rendering platforms as a software engineer at DreamWorks Animation.
David holds a Master of Information and Cybersecurity from the UC Berkeley School of Information and a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems and Philosophy from Cal Poly Pomona. His graduate research on password manager usability — presented at RSA Conference and covered by PCMag — reflects a conviction that the best security is security people actually use. At TMO, he channels that same philosophy into building trust that is not just a compliance checkbox, but a genuine competitive advantage for every lender who depends on the platform.
